What You Need to Do
Before your appointment:

If you've chosen our mobile service, we'll arrive at your home or workplace at the agreed time. You can go about your day while we work — no need to wait around or supervise.

If you're dropping your car off at our Cloyne location, we'll do a quick walk-around together, note any areas of concern, and confirm the estimated collection time.
What Happens During the Detail
The process depends on which package you've chosen, but here's what generally happens:
Step 1: Initial Assessment
We inspect your car thoroughly — inside and out — to identify problem areas, swirl marks, stains, or damage that needs extra attention.
Step 2: Exterior Pre-Wash
Your car is rinsed to remove loose dirt and debris. This prevents scratching during the main wash.
Step 3: Deep Wheel and Tyre Cleaning
Wheels, tyres, and wheel arches are cleaned with specialist products to remove brake dust, road grime, and embedded dirt. This is one of the most time-consuming parts of the process — but it makes a huge difference.
Step 4: Contact Wash
Using the safe wash method, we hand-wash your car with premium products. No automated car washes — just careful, controlled cleaning that won't damage your paint.
Step 5: Decontamination (Diamond Packages)
For Diamond packages, we use clay bars or chemical decontamination to remove bonded contaminants like tar, iron fallout, and tree sap that washing alone can't remove.
Step 6: Paint Correction (Diamond Package)
If you've chosen the Diamond Package, we'll machine polish your paint to remove swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation. This step restores clarity and gloss — and it's essential before applying ceramic coating.
Step 7: Protection
Mini & Gold Packages: We apply a protective wax for shine and short-term protection.
Diamond Package: After machine polishing, we apply a gloss-enhancing sealant. If you've opted for ceramic coating, this is when we apply it.
Step 8: Interior Deep Clean
While the exterior is being detailed, we work on the interior:
Full vacuum of carpets, seats, and boot
Plastics, rubbers, and trim cleaned and dressed
Glass cleaned inside and out
Stains treated (where possible)
Odours addressed if needed
Step 9: Final Inspection
We do a final walk-around to ensure everything meets our standards. Any missed spots are corrected before we consider the job done.
How Long Does It Take?
Mini Valet — 0–2 Hours

Can You Watch?
If it's a mobile service, you're welcome to check in on progress — but most customers prefer to leave us to it and come back to a finished car.
If you've dropped off in Cloyne, we'll update you on progress if needed, but there's no need to stay.

Deep scratches and paint chips can't be removed without repainting
Set-in stains (especially on light fabrics) may not come out completely
